Welcome Friend Foundation exists to help ensure that Rainbow Camp® and related affirming programs can continue, grow, and reach more young people. Rainbow Camp® was created to offer a place of belonging, friendship, leadership, joy, and community for 2SLGBTQ+ youth and allied youth.
Through fundraising, donor support, grants, sponsorships, legacy giving, and community partnerships, the Foundation helps build the financial foundation needed to protect and strengthen this work for future generations.

Many 2SLGBTQ+ youth grow up without regular access to affirming spaces, especially in rural, northern, and smaller communities. Some may not have another place where they can fully express who they are without fear of judgment, rejection, or isolation.
Rainbow Camp® gives young people a chance to experience acceptance, joy, leadership, and chosen family. For many campers, that experience can be life-changing.

A permanent home would allow Rainbow Camp® to expand beyond seasonal programming and create a lasting place of safety, celebration, learning, and belonging.
